How to create your new website
Creating your website with Websites-For-Photographers is a very simple process indeed. It is possible, if you have images and content readily available, to create the look you require and a complete website within one hour. Websites can be activated on their own domain within 24 to 48 hours of registration with us, depending on the domain name selected.

Once Registered you will be presented with some simple wizard steps which are as follows:

Choose a Theme - This allows you to select the initial look of the site which can be fully customised in later steps.

Amend Looks - Here you can:

Set the page width of the website

Change the location of the links menu from left, top or right hand side

Select borders to separate the text, links and header detail

Upload a header image which can considerably improve the look of the website.
We will be pleased to assist with the design of a header image if you struggle with this.

Add content to the pages you have created. If you wish to use the system to add image galleries to an existing website, simply click the 'Finish' button now.
Add titles and text to individual pages. Text can be typed directly into text fields for individual pages or you can copy and paste from a text document or existing webpage. Upload an image to complete the pages. Page titles should be descriptive as they will initially be used as your SEO content for Title and Description tags, although these can be changed later.
Add Images to your first gallery. Set a gallery name and click the Browse button to locate images. Select images to upload and the upload will start automatically. You can add a maximum of 60 images at this stage to one gallery but extra can be added later.
Your website is now complete, click Finish and view your new website.
If required, further editing of all pages can be done once the wizard is complete and extra images uploaded. Unlimited further pages plus extra galleries can also be added later.

The look and colour scheme of the website can now also be changed completely with a few clicks of the mouse.

Adding Galleries to an existing website.
If you simply wish to use the system to add galleries to an existing website you should still register an account and run through the wizard process as above.
When Choosing a Theme, select one with a similar background colour to your own website as this is the part which will be integrated to keep a consistent look. The background colour can be changed in the latter stages. Once the wizard is completed, go to the Galleries section in the top menu and you will find the different integration options and the code to be used. We can of course assist you with integration if required.
As you have run through the wizard a complete website is also created and this can be used as a second website on a new domain as required. This is useful for extra search engine exposure as pages can be optimised fully. Unlimited, optimised pages can be created and linked to your existing website so is very useful for those sites with little optimisation or sites designed in frames and Flash, or for the low activation costs, to simply increase the number of phrases whereby you can be found.
Any galleries created can be used on the second website as well as be integrated into the existing site.
